“It’s More Than Just Meals For Those Who Are Hungry…It’s About Nourishing The Whole Person”

The Neighborhood Kitchens Project empowers families to more effectively help themselves and to more effectively help one another by bringing together educational and community organizations to listen first to their hopes, dreams, concerns, and needs while providing a family meal and connections to needed resources in a convenient, comfortable, and safe place.

"We were unable to come to the other dinners. This is a blessing on a day that one was needed. The meal was great. Thanks for the invite."

"I think this was a great things to help the neighborhood and to bring people together to meet each other.
This was a blessing because I had to pay rent today and this gave us dinner when we needed it.

"Keep having these meals…it is a great break in a work week to know we can look forward to coming here, & have dinner served to us,
be with each other as a family without chores to do at home.

Keep having teachers show up at the meals…great to see the teachers/educational staff out of school atmosphere & be able
to visit & talk with them."

"The food is always so wonderful and the people are always so kind.
It helps me so much to meet new people and to be able to speak with others from the community."
